Looks like Ernie sold the rotor blade end of the business, wonder what is going to happen with the dragon wings?

Just like so many others....Skywheels almost made a comeback, but still nothing, Rotorhawk sold, I guess you can still get them from some guy in NC that is not really interested in gyros...Oh and at sportcopter prices, Rotordyne went away, Brock tooling was thrown in the dumpster.

What bothers me is why a company that has no interest in rotary aircraft would buy the tooling rights etc, I mean it would not appear that they are doing it to support the amateur built gyro market.

So sportcopter is the only USA company left,

You can get the Tango blades, Russian

Averso stella, French

Gyro-tech Poland,

I am sure a couple others I have forgotten.

So if you stuff your blades you are not going to get a replacement set anytime soon, and the shipping may send the cost over the top, because of the size of the box...

SportCopter blades are awesome and they can probably accommodate Mosquitos.

Funny, I just asked that very question on their forum. I'll let you know if I get a reply.

I got a reply from John about Mosquito's blades. He says he's "working with the new owners" and expects business as usual after the tooling is moved. Only time will tell but as of now, they don't seem openly concerned.

Thanks for info!! I have a feeling he is being too optimistic both in availability and cost.

Mikey B already has said they are not inspiring any confidence, not sure what that means, other than perhaps goodbye to the brand... :noidea
