Yes, it seems as if Lofty and I are flying in with the AirCam if weather permits it.
If not .... I more than likely will drive up.

Yes Dan is coming, and a late add, Rocky a friend of Dan's and Ed Lemoine are a probable. They are flying up in a Piper Cherokee. Careful they will try to sell it to you. Now we just need to see some favorable weather.

Well you know the story about the horse that's taught to escape and come back every time it got sold. So the owner kept selling it.....several times.
I figured if these guys are trying to sell the damn Piper it has to be something like that horse that finds its way back home...... never mind.... :gyro2

Soooooo I am no Hurricane expert (I have only ridden through about 30 of them) but If they say that this monster will hit the Carolinas Thursday..... it's always 2 days later when they predict! Gaining rotational speed slows down the directional speed. Soooo if they are right and this will become cat 5 it will slow to the point that will make it almost stationary for a couple of days. That will come to the very date of Wrens! I hope I am wrong....but I am probably not..... :badluck

Shooooooo it is gonna head north, winds of only about 8mph at Wrens....

Yeah.....everything still looks pretty good for Wrens. The Florida gang should have no issues.....
.....us North Carolina BarnStormers are planning on leaving early Thursday....before anything hits.....
probably might have some rain on Sunday for the trip home.

If the weather is crap in NC on Sunday....I'll just leave the gyro at Wrens and fly back when weather clears up.

Either way....Wrens is gonna be awesome this year!!

I have been checking weather forecasts from 2 sources at 3 places along my route and it is looking so far, like a non-event. Maybe even it has helped by sucking moisture out of the area.
Well that's the optimist report.

I kind of called this so now Georgia has declared the state of emergency because the storm is slowing the forward move and sinking further south.
Instead of Wednesday early Thursday it will reach the shores late Friday Early Saturday.
Rotational speed slows directional.....said Gabor once :fickyou

Since this thing has slowed down and moved south-west Georgia is in play for a soaking experience Saturday.
I think It would be a wise idea to re-schedule.
