Just checking in with my Wolvie mates ..... over 3000 Nmiles and 53 hours on the new TE gyro ....yesterday I arrived back safely at Sam's ... my starting place of one month ago!
Last few days I flew From Caboolture to Stanthorpe 2hr flight ... with the delightful company of Tony & Dave from the Caboolture club ... doing a. "Little"daytrip to keep me company- for fun, on my flight up over the range! I had to depart Stanthorpe a day earlier to dodge incoming rain weather flew 2.5 hrs to Gunnedah - fuel & night stop last leg yesterday was 1.5 hrs to Wellington to top off fuel and shoot the breeze with hangar owner - trike flier Mack for a while to time my brief pop down reunion ( after the kid's soccer games) with an old friend from 32 years ago... landed on the Larras lee fire brigade strip on a hilltop a bit north of Molong! Last 1.5 hr fly towards murky skies heralding the incoming weather front .... made it back to Sam's place , enroute appreciating, with a absorbing what was likely my last Aussie flight of this grand adventure! Attempting to post pics on any site other than FaceBook is just giving me the shits! .... thus the lack of trip updates ... sometimes they will post ... mostly crap out! before they load up!
