Yes. Sorry guys the weather was simply treacherous. The rain and the wind gusting was just way too brutal to fly over. We will do it on a calmer day.
Congratulations again from the DeLand group.
We really wanted to fly over. Everything was a go but the weather rolled in :badluck

John says that there is going to be a gathering at Wauchula next week. I have not seen any posts. Can anyone confirm? I need to take the Cessna somewhere soon. It feels neglected now that I have the gyro.

Cindi and I made it, first road trip for her pathfinder, happy to say it even got better gas milage then we expcted. best was 25.7 m.p.g.

It was a pretty good turn out we got there late so we got to have a burn't buger...aakk, later they did cook up a few freash ones. Greg told us how Ron and the F.A.A. pretty much scared him about signing off students and told us some other good info in a discussion on the sport pilot cert. so that alone made the trip very educational and cleared up some questions I had.

here are a few pics.

still not sure what the story is about this crazy house at the end of the rd. going towards the airport. had all kinds of Chiness dragons and shit in the yard.

and yeah I think Cindi likes her new Ride.. :)
we didn't fly, but yeah we have the Wolverine balls to rep Deland.. :)
