Hi, I'm Jerry Sweet here in Hudson, Fl.
Matt (son) and I visited Chapt26 in Wachula a couple of Saturdays ago and had a great time. The drive was about 2hrs from here and Gabor mentioned there were a few members in Zephyrhills which is just over an hours drive. I would like info on anything coming up there whether it's hanging out or a gyro event. Was a PRA member way back in '97 and still have the interest. Now I'm retired and can get in serious trouble. Hey Jerry welcome aboard. We have a few guys here who do belong to the Zephyrhills gang. Steve, Greg, Darren, Phil and Abid are all from Zephyrhills. I will direct their attention towards you right away. We usually just announce things as they arise here on the event page but we are also working on the schedule for the whole year. I am waiting on the additions from Zephyhills group. It will be published as soon as they throw in their event schedule. WHat we have for now is:
July 27th DeLand August 23 rd DeLand August 30-31st - Sept 1st Wauchula October 19th DeLand November 27-30th Wauchula December 25- January 4th Wauchula I'll update it as soon as I get some info from the Zephyhills group. Hi Jerry and Welcome.....
Let me be the first to say Come on Over!!!! I am currently away working out of state however I will call the gang at Zephyrhills and let them know you would like a visit. We would be very happy to bring you up to speed. We have a great bunch of guys and gals in the Sunstate Wing and Rotor Club West division and are always up to something out at the airport. I lived in Pinellas county for over 20yrs before moving to the Pasco county area near Dade City and Zephryhills area so it shouldn't be to much of a trip for you to make it over. It's going to be a whole lotta fun getting back into Gyro's!!!  Leave contact info and I'll have Greg call or email you for more details. Your name seems vaguely familiar...Does Darren McDowell ring any bells??  |

We are at Zephyrhills almost every Saturday and Sunday. We usually arrive around 8-9am and stay until mid-day or early afternoon. Email me at cesphil@verizon.net |

Great flight out and back today, KDED to ZPH. Unfortunately did not stay as long as I would have liked. Greg flew the MTO, and I think I got the seal of approval.
