Hilarious,
I was exchanging comments bellow one of the Murray's recent youtube videos,
here is what a gyroplane fan wrote about the other forum ...

"YEs please. I obviously have a thirst for understanding. I do lurk on the forum in the states which is now championed by Vance Brees around others."

I had proposed him to visit SW to see a couple of non hero gyro fans just motivated my friendship and passion .. (without giving him and certitude on the fact he would be accepted of not)

haha... no, I haven't heard from Benry yet... he is probably full on sight seeing...

He is down Sydney way, he might come up to the Gold Coast and if he does, I will drive down that way and meet him like half way (it is a 3 hour drive)

He might not get time to come up so far from Sydney this time ... we will see :laughing

He might not have realised just how big Australia is... it takes almost 10 hours to drive from Sydney to Brisbane... If we can't meet this trip, I am sure he will be back again and he can fly to Brisbane. :yoda2 :yoda2 :wol2 :Wolvie

Hey guys!
We are in the Blue Mountains today.
Had to buy a jacket in Katoomba yesterday...
I just can't handle the cold anymore;)
Muz, we have a big comfy SUV and are driving up the coast. I will give you a call soon.
I had to get a sim chip for our phone.

We had a dinner last night and an incredible parrot show joined us! It was like eating at a pet shop!

What a fantastic day yesterday! We strolled around Byron Bay, eastern most point of Australia in beautiful weather.
It was sooo nice I told Kat, we gotta go to the local airstrip...
I met a great guy and struck up a conversation.
Before you know it, we are cruising around whales lighthouse and beaches with bikinis in his MTO Sport!
My first ride in an Autogiro. It is very sedate in its flying charicteristics. I bet if you were a new pilot it would be an easy rig to learn in.
Got great video and pics, but cant post from a phone...

it would not be possible for me as I only have a French ultralight licence which is not accepted outside Europe
have fun ..

Not sure about license issues. Didn't ask.
As for being careful, I checked the rotor blades, roots and hub as well as mast for cracks before climbing in.
I will say theres not much room in the back seat for a portly fellows tummy....I had to suck in a bit on take off;)

Had an awesome time today with our very own Muz!
We went to a gunshop and saw one hell of a colle tion, then had some lunch and great conversation.
Giro, you would have fit in quite nicely to the conversation....
Maybe next time!
Thanks again Murry!
