I saw a jet fly out of our international airport today it had a reasonably slender fuselage and two jet engines on either side at the wing roots. The jets were in the wings not on them, but the nacelles and tail pipes stuck out behind further than the wings. The srange thing was the wings...very long but really wide at the fuselage getting smaller towards the tips. Looked like it would be perfect for loitering or spying, but wasnt military in nature and they use andersen base runway not guam intl. Best description i can give is it looked a lot like a U2 with fat wings. Any ideas? |

Cool! http://www.nasa.gov/missions/research/b-57_feature.html When you first mentioned it i thought it might be one of the new 737-800 sub chasers, until you described it. http://www.boeing.com/defense/maritime- ... index.page |
