A re-post from something I found on another forum:

Real Time World Wind Map

Drag globe to change what's in view. Scroll wheel zooms in & out.
Click on the "Earth" button for options and anywhere on the globe for wind information at that spot.

Thanks Gordon .... what a find ... I am presuming it is in real time ... or updated fairly often .... I see what looks like hurricanes far out in the Pacific (4:30 AM)

I saw that a few months ago on a 737 pilot's computer but could never find it again .... so thank you for the link .... it sure shows how the oceans create our winds and weather.
