I have been wrestling with this decision ever since Barbara stopped its first sale. I just have several private reasons to sell it....and one is NOT financial. I will sit on it and not give it away at a discounted price just to sell it.

The add is on the RWF.

Serious inquires only to my e-mail at strbldr@yahoo.com or my cell phone at 217-419-4967

I am serious about this.

Wow, really hate to see you sell it, but I know why. you know you will regret it later. biggest thing i hate about you selling it is,I don't have the money to buy it. by far the Nicest helicycle ever built.

good luck on the sale.

Stan? :noidea :eek You love that thing, it's your 'other' baby :cry

You must have your reasons, this would hardly be a light decision...... I am terribly sorry this has to happen :gyro2 :yoda

Madmuz- There are several good reasons, financial and something wrong with the helicopter are not one of them.

Arnie knows the "almost" the whole story. Believe me, it was a hard choice that just became easy to make.

I sold my Helicycle within 24 hours with my previous ad. The buyer sent a nice deposit, and without even seeing my Helicycle, he cancelled the rest of the payment due to personal reasons.

So....its for sale again!

Maybe that is why he didn't want you to say where it was going? :noidea I'm sure it will sell soon tho... are you going to take it for one more run? :koolaid :pop

I will tell anyone in private the guys name....just won't in public for obvious reasons. He verbally bought my Helicycle, says he is buying it...consider it sold..So...I deleted the ad.

He backed out the next day just having discovered medical problems, wife isn't happy, didn't have a trailer...etc. Etc.

He then called me again the next day and wants it again. Consider it sold ...he said...again. My word is my bond, but not with this guy.....so..
I demanded a deposit this time, and he immediately sent it and I cashed it.

Now he restates his reasons again for not wanting it.

It might be a sign! :) My wife keeps telling me that the constant break down of my machine is a sign too.....but l don't listen too well either.

I have already adjusted to my new turn in life. I do not plan on flying again except to demonstrate my Helicycle.

Barbara and I are both looking forward to my new direction. I am excited.

If the deposit agreement is you get to keep the deposit regardless, then I see a potential for extra income.
Especially if there is a buyer once a month or so.

I actually feel sorry for the guy.... to have had one foot into owning that magnificent helicycle, something that Stan built with love and loved to fly, then to have personal issues that stopped the deal going through.... it must have been a terrible ordeal for him to have to walk away from such a beautiful machine/deal..... I hope his troubles clear up and wish him all the best. :noidea :dizzy :badluck

I am sure Stan will sell the HC soon and all will be as it is supposed to be..... best of luck Stan, what is meant to be, will be :like :first

If it doesn't sell? It will. But the worst thing it to sell it to some idiot who thinks he can fly a small helicopter.

A good museum to loan it to, a big (micro) tax write off .

Seen a lot of nice machines bite the dust because the buyers had bid uns and no brains. :bunny

It sold again within 24 hours. The new owner is flying in from Denmark as I type. My bank has already been contacted and half the money is being wired tomorrow.

I will store it for him through the winter.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A fine piece of American jewel to show the Europeans how it's done!
Could not have gone to a better place!
It will be treasured and shown off quite often.
I am very happy about it.
Your name will always be attached to that craftsmanship Stan!
Always!!!!
Good for you!
Congratulations.
Now that is a lot of ammo you got there :die :die :die :die
